Epoq had the pleasure to support GIZ with the creation of a new Guide designed in two languages, as well as the creation of a video and conference material like lanyards and folders.
This guide, developed under the Bio-Bridge Initiative of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), with support provided by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) within the framework of the International Climate Initiative (IKI), aims to provide step-by-step guidance on how to implement a typical process for the valuation and integration of marine and coastal ecosystem services (MCESs). Given the global importance of this topic, the guide has been prepared with reference to the many sophisticated methodological developments in this field.
